Role Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a willingness to be mentored and take direction from the Surveyor
- Assist in a variety of survey-related tasks such as the setup of conventional survey and GPS systems, survey data collection, and other duties
- Inspect, operate and maintain survey equipment, tools and vehicles
- Full compliance and active participation in the Apex Geomatics Health and Safety Program
- Adherence with quality assurance procedures and quality control practices.
- Assist in the completion of daily field documentation and reports
- Ability to conduct yourself with a professional, cordial attitude with clients
Role Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
- 1 year of industry experience or post-secondary training in an applicable field would be considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
